Lani Levine is an award-winning broadcast journalist and producer of prestige documentary films renowned for delivering powerful stories on tight deadlines from challenging environments. Born across from the Coney Island cyclone, highlights of her roller coaster career span negotiating with the Taliban, exploring a secret 20,000 sq. ft. warehouse filled with Michael Jackson’s personal effects, embedding in Tyson Fury’s training camp and investigating hidden mass graves in the Russian breakaway state of Transnistria. 

Her work has been showcased on HBO, National Geographic, CBS, Showtime, TIME, FOX, ESPN, VICE News, HISTORY and Amazon Prime. She began her career at the infamously high-stakes newsmagazine 60 MINUTES, the longest-running and highest rated program of its kind.

Most recently, Lani served as Executive Producer of Olivier Sarbil's documentary VIKTOR, which premiered in the Platform competition at TIFF ’24.

Her work has earned her some of journalism’s most prestigious honors, including multiple News & Documentary Emmys, the Grierson British Documentary Award, the Oscar shortlist and the Edward R. Murrow Award.
